The start of this year has been particularly interesting for the Silk Plaster team and our partners because we were able to attend several events and showcase our products as a group.
Expo 2020, UAE | October 1 2021 - March 31 2022
Over the course of its six-month existence, more than 24 million people attended various shows and events at Expo 2020. Even though our team had the wonderful fortune to take part in the event in October, customers could still find out more about our products at the Latvian pavilion until the very end!
For 170 years, the world expos have provided a place for presenting the best innovations that have shaped the world we live in today. Famous buildings like the Eiffel Tower and George Ferris's "Big Wheel," which is now located in Chicago, were later constructed by historical personalities. Isn't that amazing?
New York Build, USA | March 2 - 3
New York Build, the largest building and design expo in New York and the Tri-state region, gave thousands of executives—including government representatives, realtors, and construction experts—a fantastic networking opportunity. A truly great event that gave our products exposure to potential partners and collaborators for this year's creative projects!
Architecture + Construction materials 2022, Japan | March 1 - 4
Everything you'd need to construct something, including walls, floors, and ceilings, as well as supplies for interior decoration. At this event, we had access to a wide range of exhibitors, including building materials for homes, businesses, and offices, as well as any other related systems and equipment. All of the most recent market trends in the area, in a nutshell!

Māja 2022, Latvia | March 24 - 27

Although the event was well-run, it holds a particular place in our hearts since we can always display our items to the locals.
Resta 2022, Lithuania | April 20 - 23
The largest international building exhibition in the Baltic States inspires both enthusiasts looking for innovative home renovation ideas and industry specialists in construction, installation, and landscaping. Being a part of Resta is always enjoyable since it introduces us to so many creative people who are interested in Silk Plaster and its benefits.
Nordbygg 2022, Sweden | April 26 - 29
Nordbygg is the largest gathering place for the building and construction industry in the Nordic region, attracting thousands of visitors each year from Scandinavia, the Baltic nations, and the rest of Europe. This year, 930 exhibitors, 300 of whom were from outside the country, and close to 35,000 visitors from 53 different nations attended the event.
We were especially happy to participate this time because the hosts conducted their first-ever women's network gathering with the intention of giving female employees in the construction sector a place to connect and share experiences, counsel, and suggestions.
UK Construction week, United Kingdom | May 3 - 5
This year's event's main theme was culture change in the construction industry, specifically how the industry adopts new behaviors, best practices, and a true cultural shift in how it builds for the future.
The event's director remarked before the events that there are a ton of displays, exhibitors, shows, and unique items there. It will be a chance to honor some of the top innovators and thought leaders in the construction sector as well as the achievements of the field. We are compelled to agree.
Buyer point, Italy | May 17 - 18
A unique event on the DIY home and garden scene in Europe called Buyer Point has created a revolutionary technique for balancing supply and demand. This year's event gave customers and potential suppliers a great chance to plan a steady stream of fast 15-minute one-on-one meetings before the event, making it that much more fruitful and focused on every interested party! We loved every second of it!
